Hottest day of the year.
Eldest son comes home from school nearly collapses as he walks through door.
Why?
He wasn't allowed to take his school jumper off.
He had a shirt and tie on but he had to keep his jumper on as it has the school logo on it.
Their excuse?
They have a summer uniform and if he didn't want to wear a jumper he should be wearing the summer uniform (a polo shirt with the school logo embroidered on it)
He doesn't have summer uniform as they did not get enough stock in of his size. Not being funny, this child is in small mens size clothes, he is 5ft 9, but they did not have his size when I went to get the uniform. Anyway he only has another two years at the school, and they can only wear the summer uniform from May 1st till end of July - to me £15 for a shirt (and lets face it I would have to buy two) is just not worth it.
Really am annoyed at this, they could have thought this through a lot better. Letter has been typed to go into school tomorrow, added bonus is I am taking some work up there from our school for the kids who are moving on. Will tell them what I think then as well!
