Right that is enough excitement for one day!
going to have a glass of milk then wend my weary way up to bed!
Just remembered something else I have forgotten to pack...................

Hubby did his own packing in the end, decided I was taking far too long!
So packing is now done. I, as usual, have packed for all eventualities - a t shirt for everyday plus one extra, two pairs of jeans, one pair of trousers, 2 skirts in case weather is nice and anyway need 1 skirt as we plan on going out for a meal with sister, a couple of blouses, underwear for two weeks just in case, tankini in case weather is nice and we get to the beach, a couple of jumpers in case it is cold - see I like to be prepared for all weathers lol!!!
Problem with holidaying in the british Isles, you never can tell what the weather is going to be like and I can guarantee at least half of the week will rain, it always does!
All I have to do now is sort out the dog tags for the dogs and get them to the kennels in the morning then we will be off!
Only hoping aunts computer is working so i can log on occasionally - a week with out blogging or checking my e mails will be painful lol!!

Childrens packing done anyway once I had sorted through the clothes they were planning on taking and discarding anything that was now too small or didn't go with shorts etc! Funny how youngest seemed to think that all he needed to take was 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of socks, pair of trousers, 1 t shirt and 1 pair of shorts. When I asked him how long he was planning on staying for he replied "a week!"
So sorted out the rest of the clothes for him, he couldn't understand why he needed more "aren't you going to wash them when you are there?" he says. Don't think so!
Other son in the meanwhile packed enough for a month, but no swimming trunks in case we go to the beach and no underwear. Any pyjamas? says I, oh yes he says and scuttles of to find some. Comes back then with 2 pairs of pyjamas, 16 pairs of pants, 2 pairs of socks, by this time I am tearing hair out!
Hubby still hasn't decided what to take yet, looks like I will end up sorting him out as well. Me? can't decide between trousers or skirts, down to two pair of jeans now, 1 pair of trousers 2 skirts! oh well enough for all eventualities!!
Housework done, lovely hubby did all that while I battled with the kids. Having a fat day, hair a failure and dying for a cuppa, back killing me but will get there eventually!

As I said in my earlier post I went out today, but left the kids at home, eldest being in charge. Came home to find
Bedding has been washed and put in tumble dryer
washing up done
All beds made
Do you think someone is after spending money for the holiday?

"Good morning darling, are you going to weigh in in Boots today"
"No"
"Thats a good idea - take them off first"
that is how my day started this morning. Hubby being in a very silly mood and telling silly jokes. It has been a busy day and nothing on my list has been done yet. Spent this morning in town looking for birthday present for youngest (which took forever), came home quickly changed beds and out again to see one of Nigel's clients - who has as strange sense of humour Nigel does! Costco next to get dog food and wine (that bit is important for aunt and I) then home to have some dinner before I start tidying up and packing![]()
Did get my own back just a little. In Woolworths and they had a clearance section, where they were selling off all the England stuff from the world cup. There it was a money box, in the shape of a pair of breasts with a tiny England bikini top on - appeals to hubbys sense of humour who seems to collect cheap tack, so he picks it up and it plays God Save the Queen very loudly! So funny, he went a lovely shande of red and quickly put it down lol!
Well better get some packing done or I will be doing it in the early hours of tomorrow lol!
