  • Quiet chill out day

Well Nig has his appointment for 3.30 on Thursday. I laughed when he told me. He is unsure why. Haven't the heart to tell him that trying to get to the doctors as three schools are pouring out in the same street may be a bit tricky, it is also a one way street. Good luck!!

had a relatively easy day. Sat and watched total rubbish on telly, except for the film Pride and Prejudice of course, cooked some tea and done some washing. Didn't hoover, haven't done the ironing but there is always tomorrow!

Had a letter from WW to say the leader has changed again and they want to welcome me back with open arms - yeah right! Not sure if I should go on Friday or not, the thought of facing them scales is terrifying, yet I know that I have to take charge before any more weight goes on. I did so well before, I really must try and get it all off again.

Oh well off to surf the net before I settle down to sew.:)

  • A cautionary tale

Little Johnny watched his daddy's car pass by the school playground
    and
    go
    into the woods.
Curious, he followed the car and saw Daddy and Aunt Jane in a
    passionate

    embrace.

Little Johnny found this so interesting that he could not contain
himself as he ran home and started to tell his mother.

Mummy, I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods
    with

Aunt Jane. I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss,
    then

he helped her take off her shirt. Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his

    pants off, then Aunt Jane........"

At this point Mummy cut him off and said, "Johnny, this is such an
interesting story, suppose you save the rest of it for suppertime. I want

to see the look on Daddy's face when you tell it tonight."!

At the dinner table, Mummy asked little Johnny to tell his story.
    Johnny

started his story, "I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go
    into

the woods with Aunt Jane. I went back to look and he was giving Aunt
    Jane
    a
big kiss, then he helped her take off her shirt. Then Aunt Jane helped

Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane and Daddy started doing the same

thing that Mummy and Uncle Bill used to do when Daddy was in the Army."

Moral for women: Sometimes you need to listen to the whole story before
    you
    interrupt!

  • Normality returns

Or what can be classed as normality in this house.

5.30 this morning alarm goes off. Been awake most of the night following a recurring dream, one that I have been having for most of the week, and last night had about 3 times. So lots of tossing and turning and finally getting to sleep without dreaming when alarm goes off and Nigel groans.

Up at 6 as he brings me a cup of tea in bed. We sit and chat then he goes off to work. I go back to sleep - that dream again.

Eventually drag myself out of bed, make a couple of phonecalls, have a cup of tea, do an exercise dvd, and have some breakfast/lunch.

Need to hoover living room floor - for two dogs who are not supposed to molt a lot, they do, - then soak in a bath for a little while.

Recurring dream - I am talking to someone, I have never met, have no idea who he is. We chat by an elevator, and I touch his arm. His life flashes before me and I can see hurt and pain. Then we are in a pub, it is crowded, elbow room only, and we are sitting at a table together talking. Same thing happens but this time I am trying to block the images that I see.

    Then I wake up.

I have no idea who this person is, we have never met, yet everything is so vivd, this morning after I woke for the umpteenth time following this dream I could even remember the conversation we were having as well as the pain he was suffering and what had happened.

    Really weird!

Tried to phone doctors this morning for Nig, only appointment available was for 10 and yet dear hubby is in London! So that wasn't an option, he had to go back to work today or he wouldn't have got paid. So have been told to phone at 2.30 to try and get an evening appointment so will do that. Thanks to you all for your support it was really appreciated and helped to keep me sane:)

Right housework then bath now, need to soak my aching bones:)
