Spread your wings and fly away

Just one question.

How long should the post of Deputy Headteacher be advertised for in the TES?

Is one week sufficient ( I think not but have been told otherwise)

Anyone know of any sites that can help me? Been on the DFES one, NCSL, Governornet and teachernet but none of them state how long.

It is a beautiful day out there today. The sun is shining brightly and showing me how badly my windows need cleaning. It brings a smile to the face to see the sun shine, if only I had time to experience being out in it, but alas there is a pile of paperwork to get through before I pick my youngest up from school

I haven't been around for a few days or online much as the week turned out to be very hectic indeed. Work was very busy and there were meetings to attend as well, not enough hours in the day really but managed to get through it in the end!

I have a house that looks as though a bomb has hit it and a pile of washing nad ironing that is desperate for attention, unfortunately I am due to go to see a friend later so know that I will not have time to catch up with it but I haven't seen her for a while so know that I should make some effor to catch up with the gossip!

Right better go and make a cup of tea and a sandwich and get on with the day.
