My ear is hurting like mad

My eyes are sore

My throat feels as though someone has scrapped it with sandpaper

The back of my neck aches

I am feeling very sleepy.

So I am going to bed with a good book and some paracetamol and a hot drink.

I have earache.

It is in the ear I have problems with anyway.

I noticed tonight how it kept feeling as though something inside was cracking when I was chewing dinner, and it is painful.

Fluid and wax no doubt which means I will go completely deaf in that ear sometime over the next couple of days for at least 48 hours then I will wake up with wax on the pillow, my ear being really painful for 24 hours until it clears up again - oh then no doubt I will have the constant itching in the inner ear.

I go round in circles with it.

If I go to the doctor I know it will be painkillers, getting it syringed and ear drops - none of which work.

Might try and make an appointment though!

The start of another week - only two to go until the holidays yippeeee!

Outside it looks as though someone has been busy with a giant bag of Icing sugar, a fine sprinkling of snow lays on the ground, here and there, not enough to bring the country to a standstill and as I watched the sun rise this morning I just knew that what is there will disappear by the time I head out of the door to work.

The sky is a greyish colour tinged with red and yellow as the sun tries to breakthrough the clouds.

The news this morning was cheery (not). Lots of talk about the stabbings - 7 teenagers in six weeks, makes you wonder what the world is coming to, Freddie Flintock and his antics at the weekend, and the fact that GB may put up car tax on 'gas guzzlers' to save the environment - or rather line the pockets of the labour party.

I have to go shopping before work today and collect my friends birthday present. I am not sure what to get yet, but it needs to be bought today - she will be 50 tomorrow!

Radio 5 is asking people to text in what they are having for tea tonight. Apparently there have been studies that say that we as a nation, eat the same thing and don't really cook that much - may do a spag bol as there are only me and the kids here this evening for dinner, Nigel is going to football

They are also doing a blog day tomorrow as well. They are doing 'A moment in time' and encouraging people to write about their day or what they are doing at 12 o'clock tomorrow here
