Only two of us at Pilates tonight so the instructor got the balls out (no not them balls CJ) and we did some moves on them that stretched the spine and leg muscles, very nice!

I now ache in various places and know that tomorrow I will be hurting in places a girl shouldn't hurt!

But it was fun and we all had a giggle or two (all three of us lol)

So now the footie is on, hubby is watching it and refereeing from his armchair (oh joy) while the rest of us find something to do that will take our minds from what is going on or having to listen to him.

Right off to see what everyone is up to - those that haven't disappeared to Birmingham that is lol:)

  • Friday morning

    The sun shines:):):):):)

Washing machine will be doing overtime today, there is a lot to get through and I am going to make the most of the weather:)

Weigh in later though I am not looking forward to that, and afterwards I will be getting my hair done - some dark low lights put through it instead of highlights - fed up with being blonde now lol!

Having it trimmed as well so hopefully it will look reasonably nice for the wedding in a couple of weeks.

So last night - quiz was cancelled and didn't take CJ up on his suggestion, despite it being a really good idea;), but hubby did take me out for a meal at a local steak house which was quite nice. We picked up his van first (was in the garage having break pads replaced) then we both drove to the steakhouse which is where the problems started. There wasn't much in the way of parking. Two parking spaces both in very tight areas, both on ends where there wasn't much room to move. Now I am a driver who has to reverse into a parking space, I do not like driving into spaces to reverse out of them, I also reverse in and I have a long car - a Vectra Estate. I always rely on my mirrors as I can't always see or judge distances in the back window, but because to reverse into this space was so tight to turn I did look out of the back window, requiring me to turn to do so, which is when I felt a disc move in my back and a sharp pain up my spine!

Gritting teeth I managed to park the car, got out was congratulated by hubby for perfect parking (sarcastic ***) and hobbled into the restaurant.

"You alright?" he asked as we sat down and I started wiggling on the chair trying to get comfortable and to move my back.

"Yes" replied I, "Its just my back hurting"

So an enjoyable meal, came home and laid on the sofa, flexing feet, hips and stretching the way I had been told by physio to stop back from seizing up. Went to bed, managed to get comfortable, hubby climbs into bed starts talking and went to put his arm round me which is when the spasms in my back started!

So that put a stop to any ideas he may have had lol!

Fortunately the spasms seemed to have stopped for now, and I am hoping to make Pilates tonight as that usually sorts it out for me, but there is an ache and my hip is hurting but nothing I can't cope with for now:)

Right better go an hang this washing out!:)
