  • Smells and other things

I have changed my fabric conditioner.

The washing has dried and is waiting in the basket to see what an Iron looks like

    It smells divine!

In other news, another ride on the bike, don't feel as sore as I did before, I am obviously getting used to it, now I only wish someone would tell me how to use the gears when I am going downhill to stop the bike from going too fast!

oh and the brakes squeak badly - must get hubby to oil them:)

Right off to do something constructive like watch tv or something lol!

  • incidentally......

So after a hectic day where youngest child told me he had no gym this morning, only to find out when we got to school that gym was on, where I sat for three hours on a very sore bum listening to some woman telling us how to do maths, where I have found out I should have been taking a class, but got double booked and didn't need to be there, where the bimbo in Sainsburys tried to double charge me for some goods she had already put through the cash till scanner, where...............

You get my drift a day full of 'incidents' and I am now waiting for a lasagne to cook, some wine to chill and hopefully, if I am kind enough to hubby that is, will be able to get out on the bike this evening - well one has to keep these things up don't they lol:)

  • Monday Morning

Ok it is the start of yet another week.

Ok it is Monday and surprisingly I am feeling upbeat about it - no doubt once I get to work that will change:)

Still feeling sore again today. My bum really hurts this morning. We went out on the bike yesterday in an effort to teach Richard how to ride his which ended up with Simon and Nig losing their temper with each other. Nigel has little patience, Simon was trying to help, Richard was in tears, you can imagine the scene and it wasn't going to get any better - I even shouted at Nig at one point. Richard has got the hang of it, it is confidence he lacks but that will come.

As for me, well we decided to go through the woods and along the path that separates one of the 'private' estates from the woods. It is a long path that takes roughly about 15 mins to walk along when you are with the dogs, so a good three or four times riding along there and back as well as riding in the woods was good fun, despite a sore bum and shoulders that hurt from the previous days efforts. My only problem is learning to free wheel instead of panicing when going downhill and learning about how to use gears when going up hill! Gears on bikes - where did that come from? Only one accident, I tried to avoid something that was on the path and lost balance a little bit so scrapped my ankle on the pedal in an attempt to stop myself from falling as I began to topple over. But I enjoyed it and really wish I could go out again today but unfortunately work intervenes - it will be a long day and don't think that I will be able to go out this evening:(

Oh well enough rambling on better go and get ready for another fun packed day at work!

    have a good day!!
