Well today has been a little strange.

Managed to get some housework done before heading out of the door to work, where I found out we no longer get a planning hour because it isn't needed.

Why?

Because the teachers give you weekly plans.

Ok this makes sense but there are occasions when you need to make notes on the plans, or alter them slightly is you are working with a small group.

Gradually our jobs are being eroded away. We are not being valued. Not a problem for me because all I want to do is go in do what I have to, then come home again, but for some people they do a lot more than that and they are not at all happy.

We are not even allowed to discuss our day anymore in the staffroom either!

It really is ridiculous.

Apart from that, everything went well.

I am currently trying to get dinner ready. Simon starts diving lessons today so a friend has dropped him off and I need to pick him up then feed him when we get back. we have also managed to co-ordinate timetables as well so we can share the school run - this is great, more Me time yipeeee!

Right better go and check on the vegetables - having roast chicken, roast potatoes, and roast vegetables
