Well we came second again in the quiz last night and that was on a tie breaker for first and second place. We would have come first without the tie breaker as we could have had all the answers correct but we didn't answer one of the questions.

Question was: Osteoporosis is a disease of the bones, spell osteoporosis.

So we wrote it down, but you know when you write a word down and it doesn't look right? Well we had that problem yesterday. We tried to re write it, then decided as it was one of the questions in the elimination round that we wouldn't risk it and would leave it out. How we kicked ourselves when we realised we were correct afterall! Still we won £15.00 towards our Christmas meal kitty which is building up nicely so can't complain.

Doing another quiz on Saturday which is for charity, I really am getting hooked on this:)

Listening to Radio 5 and they are talking to the parents of Rosemary Edwards. My heart goes out to them, it must be so hard having to deal with her death, but they want to put their story if it will help others to avoid what happened to Rosemary.

According to Mind Suicide accounts for 20 per cent of all deaths amongst young people aged 15-24 and is the second most common cause of death amongst young people after accidental death. Around 19,000 young people attempt suicide every year and about 700 of these die as a result.

These statistics I find quite scary. I know there are lots of children out there that feel they cannot talk to their parents or other adults because they just will not understand. we were all young once and we probably all thought that about our own parents.

I really feel for this family because after listening to them, they dealt with a situation with their child in the same way that I probably would have dealt with it if it had been one of mine, and the thought that they lost a child as a result makes me grieve with them.

right enough of this depressing post have housework to do:)

Have a good day!
