Spread your wings and fly away

Well so far I have been shopping. I have got the last few bits that they needed from school.

Well eldest didn't need anything, though no doubt come Saturday he will present me with a list of things he can't do without!

Youngest got a new bag as his one was falling apart. It came with a free lunch box and fruit bag that caused much excitement - how easily amused he is - and was a bargain at only £8.49 from sport and soccer as well

Also replenished my stock of pens and pencils and brought some clear sticky plastic to cover his school diary.

Now going to look for some piccies to decorate my diary with to distinguish it from the many diaries that are given out to the teachers and TA's!, then label up the school uniform, not much to do, just a new jumper and trousers that need doing

Then off to do some sewing

Then it is back to the grindstone of work, getting kids to school and into some sort of a routine again.

These six weeks have gone far to fast. The weather is better outside now than it has been for all of the six weeks holiday, which is just about typical. Decided I have to get a few bits and pieces still, last minute stuff which I should have got yesterday but didn't, and then I plan on doing the last bits of washing and sitting down to some therapeutic sewing for the rest of the day.

Today will be about me, because I just know tomorrow and the rest of the week is going to be hectic. I just know that whatever I do it will be wrong. That I will spend all my time sorting things out rather than being able to do what I am actually employed to do. It is always like this at the start of term so I know that this year it won't be any different.

C'est la vie and all that jazz, not much I can do but enjoy what today brings and relax
