    PHWOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought he was great in Vanity Fair as well, all moody and sultry:)

  • Just a thought

Going through my wardrobe, and the clothes hanging on the back of youngest son's door (as I have a small wardrobe and not all my clothes fit in) in the vain hope of finding something half decent to wear tonight, I am struck by a mad thought:

I have no decent or update cardigans/jackets to wear with whatever I decide to wear tonight.

Now why the hell did I not think of this before?

It is a disaster I tell you:)

  • In other news

After years of pestering and pleading with me, eldest son has decided he no longer wants to study to be an archaeologist.

He is still very much interested in archaeology, but decided to join a group and use it as a hobby.

So what has he decided to become?

Well you may ask, as I did, thinking right, he has opted for something that will not require much studying, perhaps to make working for his A levels easier.

    Nope.

For Alevels at sixth form, he wants to study:

    Maths,
    Physics
    Chemistry and
    Biology.

    A scientist perhaps?

    No

He wants to become a Vet.

wonder if that has anything to do with one rescued hedgehog and pigeon?

  • Pain relief

Yet again woke up in pain that made me burst into a torrent of tears.

Now to get to this state things must be painful, as I usually have quite a high pain threshold - well you can't live with back pain on a daily basis and not have a high pain threshold in my opinion.

This is the worst pain imaginable though, and goes down neck, spine and across my shoulders, moving is difficult and even with the strongest of pain killers, it isn't shifting.

so while out today, not town, but in Dunstable, I headed into Lloyds pharmacy to get something unrelated, where i found a nice display of these:

so in for a penny in for a pound I bought one complete with a spare set of pads and batteries.

And why, tell me, did no one ever recommend I get one of these?

Ok so at first, once I figured out that I really didn't need it on the highest setting otherwise i was likely to have to replace a roof where I went through it, but once I found the setting that suited it was like having someone massage you and I could move my head again. course the effects now it has stopped have worn off, but at least I can use it in between taking tablets:)

So I will put it on again tonight before I am due out. A friend is having a birthday meal as her partner is over for the weekend, and I desperately want to go, no matter how painful it will be. I have to get out of this house, even for a couple of hours. Can't dance the night away and can't drink but I will go out.

All I need now is some sympathy from a hubby who looks at me as though i am making this all up!

so fed up, need to go out.

    Hugs xx
