Spread your wings and fly away

I cheered when I found out I had this person to write about. I had so many thoughts in my head that it was difficult to make sense of them. So I did the only thing I could think of to try and keep it short I only hope I have just done him some justice, because how do you write about someone so special?

People born under the year of the Goat/Sheep tend to take on the role of the "good Samaritan" and yes my Secret Santa is just that, a Good Samaritan. Always there to give a comforting word or two when you are sad, there to celebrate when things go well. He shares his life, the ups and downs with us. His blog is fun and interesting to read, his photographs show us a world he sees and wants to share. He is Someone who regularly helps out whenever anyone has problems with their blogs, or laptop, or computer, you can bet this person will be in the know, will find a way to help you even though he lives too far away to just pop round.

He doodles in digital, is a keen sports fan - Liverpool supporter, a winner of two bloscars last year and no doubt will win a few at the next award ceremony and yes, he deserves every one he gets.

His blogs promote the lesser known or funnier news stories, helps with the technicalities of those blog codes, Informs you of the latest SciFi comings and goings, who will discuss Jaffa cakes with you with ease, but nowadays wishes that you pull up a chair, have

He never goes anywhere without his MP3 player and his camera. Yes my secret Santa is AJnSpencer A man of many talents. Great with the technical things and a keen photographer. Someone you can rely on to give a comforting word or two. Someone who cares about his 'friends'.

Five minutes to myself.

Five minutes peace where I amnot running round like a headless chicken trying to get a 1001 things sorted out, posted, going up and down a motorway.

Five minutes where I don't have to beg my eldest child to let me on the computer.

I have missed you all through my enforced absence.

But here I am again instead of doing washing, and housework I am here trying to catch up with the news, trying to catch up with you all, so if there is no comment, I have read I have promised.

Hectic last few days?

Yes very. work finished at last, youngest son got told off by the orthodontist for still sucking his thumb despite our best efforts, tears and tantrums to get him to stop. Problem is his thumb sucking is pushing his top teeth forward, and his bottom teeth back so far that if he doesn't stop then they will not be able to do anything with them. As it is, the orthodontist has told him that if he doesn't stop then next year they will fix one of these so we are continuing with our quest of trying to stop him from thumb sucking. In Fairness it is mainly when he is tired and at night, so we have to strap his thumb to his finger and cover it with some stuff that helps you to stop biting your nails! Fingers crossed this will work, otherwise I don't know what to do! any suggestions?

Then yesterday was the parcel drop off at my mothers house. A 45 minute journey that took and hour and a half to do because the M1 was jammed packed with cars going no where. When I finally got to mum's itook her out in the car shopping to Asda where we managed to get most of the Christmas food shopping with the exception of fresh fruit and veg which I will get on Monday no doubt.

Back home to relax for a little while before seeing to that mountain of washing!

Today I should have gone to get my hair done but had to cancel, as well as having to cancel going to see my friend for lunch because youngest threw up this morning. Oh joy be me!!

Mind you both he and I have dreadful colds so it isn't surprising he has gone down with something else!

So for now I will continue to battle with the washing and housework and try and get straight for the festive season!
