I have decided that I could have either one of the following conditions:
Bronchitis, pleurisy, tonsilitis, chest infection, pneumonia or laryngitis.
I really , really shouldn't try and diagnose myself on NHS website, all the symptoms for the above I have, hence me being off work today, unable to talk as it is too painful and I have lost my voice anyway, with a hacking cough that brings up too much muscus which is horrible, wheeziness when I move, pain in back and stomach from coughing too much, and a very dry mouth and sore throat.
And when I saw the doctor what did he say?
"It is a viral infection, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and take paracetamol"
Brilliant.
Ok I wasn't expecting miracles, honestly I wasn't, but this has gone on for far too long now, almost since before Christmas!
If I drink anymore I will look like a tap - no hang on my nose is a tap it runs that much
Beautiful mild day out there, shame I am not well enough to enjoy it. Oh well might just go and comfort myself with a good book and a nice cup of tea
