I woke this morning to the sound of the dawn chorus.
You know spring is approaching when you hear the birds singing their various songs as they gather their breakfast and prepare to make their nests.
We saw the fox looking at the construction in the field the other day. Yes the Guides are now into activity weekends, so in the field is this monstrosity of wood and rope usually seen at team building weekends. Anyway the fox sniffed around it, did his business and walked away - don't think Guides will be pleased when they see it but made me laugh
the sun is trying its hardest to make its way through the clouds outside and as I look at my garden I see the mess the dogs, or rather the grey, has made of my lawn which is now non existent. Not much point in making it right now, he will only muck it up again.
Cough is driving me nuts. Simon is at school, Richard home as he broke up for half term yesterday (teacher training day today) and I have a meeting to attend later on which I am not looking forward to going to but it has to be done.
Right better get some water onto this body of mine, flick through some paperwork, show the living room what a duster looks like and try and greet the day with some sense of normality lol!
