Sunday and little secrets

by faffajane @ 18/05/08 - 12:11:04

So far today I have managed to drag myself out of bed, shower, hang some washing out and receive my delivery of goods from Asda without leaving home.

Bliss.

Course the only things I have ordered from Asda are the heavy items - toiletries, milk, dog food, even breakfast cereal and bread. I managed to go out yesterday and buy the meat and fruit and vegetables that will hopefully see me through the week. Hubby asked if it actually saved us money doing most of the shopping online, and yes, it has, at least £10 - not a lot but when you think of the petrol I am saving, the fact that instead of spending the weekend trying to catch up with shopping and other things that seem to take forever, then the time it saves is a bonus. Not sure I will be doing this regularly, but I can see that until I get into a system with work etc then I can see it will be useful in the long run. Time is precious, why spend it doing mundane things when you should be enjoying yourself I say lol:)

I do have some ironing to do, I have some dusting and hoovering to do but that can wait for now I have more important things to be doing, like, oh I don't know, blogging for example:)

And on that note I will leave you with a little something from here one of my favourite Sunday morning pastimes:)

battle

Have a good day everyone:)

Great card!

I have to shop for mum too, and she refuses to let me do it online

I have just done next weeks shopping, it is so much easier - mind you don't trust them to get the fruit, veg and meat, prefer looking at that myself lol:)

Online shopping not offered where I live. Too bad.

You have a good one too, Faffa! xx

Very true Faffa. Life is too short! :)

And love that site although some of them make me sad at times!

I have never tried that internet shopping malarky as I like to see my the meat and veg that I buy but for heavy stuff I may give it a go!

I still have to go out and get the meat and veg as I like to examine it all first - couldn't trust anyone else to have my high standards lol:)

I am always looking for ways to minimize the time I spend on chores. Hugs and kisses

I prefer to shop online. But like youself, the 'real' food gets handled by me, rather than some stranger who has been instructed to take the oldest stuff first.
