Is there anything going on in the world today news wise?

I only ask as so far all I have heard about is how some team has won a cup in Moscow.

Big deal.

If you don't happen to like football do you want hours of air time taken up with who won what, how well someone played, how someone missed the goal - hint it is that big thing with a net that some idiot stands in front of - and whether one member will be moving to Spain?

I am really sick of it all.

I don't care!

Surely a mention would suffice, do you really have to interview every fan that gets of the bloody plane?

Do you have to speak to every ex footballer about this so called victory?

22 men, kicking a football about a field and getting paid an extortianate amount of money to do so

lol well im a footie person but im sick of it too (not only because chelsea lost) it is never ending, personally I switch off after the match the rest of the nonsense is window dressing for the newsies. You know the fact that burma and china have been devastated and that people are in urgent need of help is irrelvant i suppose as long as the football goes ahead

tell me about it I am soooo not into football but it seems we go crazy over here when there is a match on blergh I was glad there was the apprentice on last night something much better than football all day

  I watched the documentary about the fritzel case, weren't intending to but couldn't find the remote (and too knackered after walk to get up and turn it over )

Professional club football generally leaves me cold: its turned into a game for louts and cheats and I will usually watch something else or read a book.

I did quite enjoy the drama of the penalties, even though, of course, that's not really sport as such. I also thought it was quite a big deal the way the Russians welcomed everyone and decided to cut out the bureaucracy about their visas.
