It has been a strange weekend in some ways.
The type where you spend more money than you actually have and come home with things that you didn't actually go out for.
For example, in Argos to buy a phone with an answering machine to replace one that is broken (long story but we have two phone lines - one for friends and an answerphone for businesses lol!). So there we are, finding the cheapest one they have in stock, and we come away with two suitcases and a drill as well (as you do).
I have also found bottom of our visas or green forms that should have been taken off us when we went to Florida last time. i clearly states on the back of them that they should be handed in. Now I remember due to a cock up with the taxi company, we arrived at the airport just as they were boarding the plane - hence we were rushed through, and obviously these slips of paper were forgotten about in the rush. So there I am tidying up my bedroom when I come across the file that had all our documents in that had these slips in as well.
Panic reigns now as I find proof that we did leave the USA and send all these off to the designated office!!
Oh and there were other bizarre things that happened here as well but they are too numerous to mention, lets just say that laying down in a dark room may be the order of the day - then again looking at the state of this house I think not.
So Teacher training day for me, so I will be at home tidying, Simon has a maths exam so will be studying this morning before heading off to school to do it and I am doing the school run and taking youngest to school for a change!
