    Eldest son not happy

According to his exam timetable, he had a history exam at 1.30 today. At 9.00 he was phoned by the school and asked to go in as the history exam had been 'moved' Someone had got the times wrong. School is blaming exam board, though I suspect it was the school. They had to call all the History students in to do their exam, leave them in a room, supervised, until all the students had arrived because some didn't actually get there till 10.

Afterall they were supposedly studying at home for that afternoon's exam!

So frantic phonecalls to exam board to get the time delayed, a lot of very upset and frustrated students - open the paper to find half of it didn't cover what they had studied, so you can imagine the near riot! some students questioned if their other exams times were correct. They have been assured they are, but none of them are happy.

Simon didn't finish his paper, in a panic he ran out of time, looks like he won't get that A in this exam, one of the ones he wanted to do for A level, without that A or B he will not be able to do and he isn't impressed!

Hubby comes home with a bird of the feathered variety for those of you that have minds int he gutter. He found it in a clients house, they have no idea where it came from and have even less idea what it is, needless to say it is now in our house being fed, or trying to be fed by hubby and son. It will be interesting to see what it develops into, but our finches are in a sulk about the new member! Hopefully it will be released in a few days once we are sure it isn't hurt.

Eyes still bad, hayfever not good, off to bed now for an early night

My eldest son had to walk the dogs yesterday. By the time I got home one eye was swollen and very red the other one was itchy and watering. Despite this I still managed to get to my meeting and chair it, though I have to say by the end the rest of the committee were glad to get out of the room as I sat there, eyes streaming, nose blowing and coughing!!

This morning at 4am I woke up, itchy eyes again, one is red already, both watering, itchy mouth and throat, nose runny. I have hay fever so bad this year, last time it was like this I was 16!, yet this year, hubby is having it easy - the odd sniffle that is it whereas usually he is the one with the runny itchy eyes, nose etc!!

Taken some more antihistimines, shoved some beconase up nose, put some eye drops in now lets see if I manage to get through a working day without looking like coco the clown with my mascara running down my face lol - even the waterproof type:)

Ah well enough of this whingeing, still have to go to work lol:)

    Have a good day

    Hugs xxxx
