I had difficulty this morning, finding something to wear. Something that was cool enough to wear to work in a class that is full of windows, with very little breeze coming through them and something that was respectable at the same time. There was a moment when I thought I would wear a strappy top and show off my bingo wings, but decided against that as I have to go on a walk with some children this afternoon, so really that wouldn't be ideal - i am likely to burn even with sun cream on!
So settled for knee length skirt and a t shirt which I hope will be cool enough for the day ahead.
Simon has a taster day at sixth form college today, hope he likes it. Mind you he will have to walk, there is no direct bus link to it, so he will need to leave here at 12 to get there for 1 which is when his session is. I hope he likes it as he hasn't a clue what to do otherwise. The hunt is on for a Saturday/part time job but most of the places he has tried so far are not recruiting - I seem to remember it was easier for me to get my one when I was his age than it is for him now. the other thing that has really annoyed him is being told to hand in his CV yet when he does no one bothers to ring him back!!
Right enough of this waffling, the sun is shining, it promises to be a wonderfully hot day yet I have to get off to work! Life isn't fair sometimes lol
