It is universally acknowledge, that we in the British Isles, are never happy with the weather. We like talking about it, we like moaning about it. It will pop up in any conversation you are having:
"Do you want chicken tonight?"
"Yes pity about the weather though!"
The British weather is tempermental at its best. Where else, when it is supposed to be July and summer as well, would you get high strong winds and battering rain? This morning the sun shines, but according to those dour weather reporters, it will not last long - more rain on the way.
Yesterday the news reports told us summer was over, it will be wet and windy. Oh joy! All year I want sun and I get rain instead - doesnt help when you have SAD and want sun, beach..........
Thankfully Florida beckons, only hope they aren't having bizarre weather patterns as well!
Right enough of this I have to go to work!
