In other news, a couple of days ago, during the day, we saw a hedgehog wondering around in the middle of the road.
Picked it up, checked it over, put it down, it went into the road and sat there. I wouldn't say it was suicidal but, that was just tempting fate a little be too much.
So we bought it home, penned it up for a while, fed it, and let it walk round the garden until it got back into a pattern of getting up at night and walking and sleeping in the day.
got up this morning, after putting him in the plant house overnight to sleep and this morning he has gone. Not too bothered, he was back to doing what hedgehogs should be doing, the only reason he was up early yesterday evening was because he was disturbed by the dogs!
