Anyone who works in a school will tell you that this time of year is manic. Very manic!
Displays have to be changed, performances need to be rehearsed and performed. Parent's noses are put out of joint as they battle to get the best seat from which to watch their little darlings perform. Children are hyper and don't settle down to work as they get excited by the plays they have been in and timetables are changed at a moments notice.
It is hectic and today was no exception.
I am physically and mentally exhausted and counting down to the next holiday.
Then I hear that at another school, a parent has refused her child to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle little star' as one of the lines in it, if sung backwards, apparently says something really offensive,in their religion, which I won't post here as I don't wish to offend anyone.
Haven't worked out what line it is, don't really want to know, but who would sing Twinkle, Twinkle little star backwards anyway?

I suggest it might be the word....'S-T-A-R'...spelt backwards...
